The Clean Solution
NinaTrans tested their incoming diesel and determined that it was far too dirty to be used in their newer vehicles. They decided to install the complete Donaldson bulk fuel filtration system to ensure that only clean, dry diesel is pumped into their fleet. The Result
Fuel that does not meet the stringent cleanliness requirements of modern equipment can lead to premature parts failures, increased equipment downtime, and excessive fuel consumption. “The initial purpose of the installation was to enhance fleet engine protection,” said NinaTrans CEO Benny Smets. But after a through performance analysis, NinaTrans discovered that the Donaldson bulk filtration system also led to a 1.18% fuel savings, a result that is beneficial to both the environment and the company’s bottom line.
